The purpose of the Harford Christian Educational Foundation is to support the teaching ministry of Harford Christian School. Founded in 1966, the school holds high the standard of honoring the Lord Jesus Christ in every area, and Foundation funds help underwrite that lofty mission.
A board of directors guides the Foundation and awards an annual grant to the school. These funds may be spent in any portion of the operating budget. None of the grant monies come from the corpus of Foundation funds. Bylaws dictate that contributions to the Foundation may never be spent, thus all grants are taken solely from interest and income.
All contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible and go 100% into the HCEF investment account. Thanks to the common interest and personal generosity of donors, the Foundation fund has made many things possible. May God be praised for His kind providence in sustaining young people through the ministry of Christian education.

We passionately believe and teach that:
#1 Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

#3 Involvement in a Bible-believing and Christ-teaching church is important for purposes of worship and growth.
#4 Most of today’s pop culture is antagonistic to the biblical mandates for holy and distinctive living.
#5 Christian education must be a cooperative effort between home and school.
